Poached Toasted and Braised

It really shouldn’t surprise me…

…that I still suck at blogging. July with no posts? Wow, go me!

July was busy. The Fourth was spent on the Jersey Shore. The following weekend was a great Saturday (sushi and a concert) and then back-to-back weekends bookended a trip out to California to (finally) see my parents, brother, one of the cats, my two best friends from childhood, and my aunt+uncle+cousin+his girlfriend. It was a great trip.

In that all, there hasn’t been much cooking, but obviously I’m still eating, and again, took very few photos. Except for these, but their content is low on food. Hopefully, they will still make you jealous.
